
METHOD
METHOD is a an attribute of the HTML <FORM> tag that is used to call a Common Gateway
Interface (CGI) program and tell a browser whether
to perform a GET or a POST with the service requested
by the ACTION attribute's URL. The syntax for the
attribute is METHOD=("GET"|"POST") with POST
being the preferred method.
